THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!! Me and 
was reading a text in our textbooks on the english lesson when she read it exactly like in the picture
What it really said was:"But they never hanged young Robert. The king changed his sentence..." Both thought it was funny since she was reading out loud

Don't feel bad. I had something similar happen to me once...except I was giving a speech in front of a whole class. 
To be fair, that was ages ago back when I was in high school, so I doubt anyone really remembers that.
